ASX set to have a full green week after fourth straight day of gains
The ASX200 continues to extend its winning streak to four days as it closes up another 1.10% for the day, edging over 6100 points.
It was a strong day for mining with BHP and Rio Tinto both adding roughly 2% each. The banks also surged yet again as investors continue to see this as an attractive investment opportunity with Westpac winning the race, up 1.46%. Nevertheless, the standout for the day was biotech CSL, which closed up 2.46% today after it announced it has entered into an agreement with the Commonwealth to provide 51 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in conjunction with the University of Queensland.
