ASX retreats at end of trading to remain flat for the day
Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 share index remained steady for the day after a late drop-off towards the end of trading, closing at 6885.90 points.
CSL was up today after releasing favourable profit figures, once again beating analysts expectations and finishing up 2.78%.
The banks also played a hand in dragging up the index with ANZ up 2.83% and Westpac (WBC) up 3.53%.
Coles (COL) was hit hard today, closing down 5.64%.

- NWH -17.14%
- UMG -6.60%
