ASX off to flying start for the week, up 0.9%
Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 share index was off to a strong week, closing up 0.9% to hit 6,868.90 points.
Technology stocks led the way with Telstra (TLS) up 2.15% and Afterpay (APT) finishing 1.59% higher. Zip Co (Z1P) shone, up 16.9% as investors still chase BNPL stocks as they continue to trend upwards.
The miners also finished in the green for the day with BHP and Rio Tinto (RIO) both up around 2%.

The biggest gainers on Monday were:
- Nearmap +19%
- Zip Co +16.9%
- Bendigo and Adelaide Bank +11.3%
- Pointsbet +7.6%
- Lynas Rare Earth +5.6%
The biggest declines were:
- Altium -4.8%
- Beach Energy -4.3%
- AGL Energy -3.8%
- Incitec Pivot -2.7%
- Suncorp -2.2%
