ASX loses steam from morning session to close up 0.60%
The ASX200 was up as much as 1.2% today at open before retreating to a 0.6% close after investors once again poured money into the miners off the back of a strong iron ore rally.
BHP and Rio Tinto (RIO) were both up over 2% following the iron ore rally. Woolworths (WOW) and Coles (COL) also performed strongly up 1.99% and 1.5% respectively.
In the financials sector, the banks remained relatively flat for the day.

- IEL -4.80%
- IPH -3.77%
- ANN -3.74%
- COH -3.27%
