Steady day to top off positive week for investors

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 share index remained rather steady today to cap off a good week for investors, losing 0.10%. 

Commonwealth Bank (CBA) continued to perform despite the other banks sagging behind today, gaining 1.43% for the day of trading.

BHP ended the day down 1.01% along with Blackmores (BKL) falling 1.54%.

  • Mesoblast +11.3%
  • Mineral Resources +5.2%
  • Sandfire Resources +4.1%
  • Graincorp +3.7%
  • Nufarm +3.4%

The biggest declines were:

  • Oil Search -5.1%
  • Washington H Soul Pattinson -5%
  • EML Payments -4.7%
  • Cromwell Property -4.5%
  • Orica -4.1%
