Slow end to the week as Australia’s largest stocks underwhelm
It was a disappointing way to top off the week for investors with the ASX dropping 0.5% for the day to 6176.80 points.
A poor performance overnight in the US market did little to help this situation however some of Australia’s biggest miners, banks, and healthcare companies underwhelmed many. Westpac, RIO, ANZ, and CSL, to name a few, all closed in the red today.
