ASX drops 0.6% as Melbourne heads into yet another lockdown
Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 share fell 0.6% to 6806.70 points as Melbourne is set to enter yet another lockdown from 11:59 pm tonight.
The miners along with the major banks were the most affected from today’s news with BHP down 1.67% and Westpac (WBC) down 0.67%.
CSL ended the day flat as it continues to take the charge in rolling out Australia’s coronavirus vaccine.

- Westgold Resources -7.4%
- Eagers Automotive -6.4%
- Perseus Mining -5.2%
- Qantas -4.8%
- Webjet -3.9%
