ASX down 0.50% on late sell-off

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 share index dropped 0.50% today on a late sell-off to cap off the end of days trading, closing at 5927.60. This consequently marked the worst week on the ASX in six months.

Commonwealth Bank (CBA) bucked the trend today, finishing up 1.29% along with Rio Tinto, up 1.62%.

Major biotech, CSL, was once again down today closing at 287.56, down 1.35%.

  • ILU +4.46%

The biggest declines were:

  • WSA -17.74%
  • EML -5.64%
  • IEL -5.07%
  • FPH -5.04%
  • CCP -4.98%
